One of the things I respect most about recent guest Norm Solomon is that he is critical not just of Republicans but of Democrats as well. He was able to recognize the flaws of both sides and I think that ultimately made his points seem more credible.
This video of Solomon appearing on Glenn Beck's show demonstrates his unique ability to see both sides of an issue. At about three minutes in he criticizes CNN and things turn ugly.
Solomon talks about the issue of "corporate reporting" or the idea that the stories a particular news network covers (or decides not to cover) are often dictated by the companies that own that network.
The angrier an opinion makes Glenn Beck, the more likely I am to agree with it.
